An original 1930s National Institute of Chiropody enamel badge by Fattorini. The only historical information I have been able to find suggests the National Institute of Chiropody was established in either 1934 or 1935 before being renamed by the early 1940s. The Registered Design No. 798852 on the reverse also appears to correspond with the mid-1930s, supporting the attribution of this badge to the organisation's earliest years.  The badge is in good overall condition for its age. The enamel remains bright, although the white areas have become a little grubby with age and use. The pin is present and fully functional but is a little loose.   I have been unable to find another example offered for sale, suggesting this badge is pretty rare.
