1932 Ayrshire Special Constabulary Reserve Silver & Enamel Drill Medal. An attractive original silver and enamel competition medal by Fattorini & Sons, featuring the Special Constabulary Reserve badge to the centre and inscribed “Drill Compets” below. The medal is fully hallmarked for 1932 and weighs approximately 11g.  An interesting piece of inter-war British police and Special Constabulary history. There is age-related wear and damage/loss to the blue enamel, particularly around the outer border.
