Antique British Red Cross Society County of Pembroke Enamel Badge. An attractive early gilt metal and enamel British Red Cross Society badge, featuring the Society's red cross emblem on a white enamel shield surrounded by "The British Red Cross Society", suspended from a decorative red enamel bar inscribed "County of Pembroke". The reverse is marked J.R. Gaunt London and retains its original pin fitting. An interesting and apparently scarce county issue relating to the history of the British Red Cross in Pembrokeshire. In good condition for its age with some general surface wear and minor enamel wear
