This Antique Novelty Cricket Bat Retractable Pencil / Letter Opener measures 4.5 inches long when the pencil is open, crafted from wood with charming vintage character. It shows a couple of chips around the edges of the blade and some minor loss to the banding on the handle, adding to its authentic antique appeal. Although it lacks a makers mark, it is believed to be by the Sampson Mordan Co, referenced in their late 1800s catalogue.
