Vintage Hallmarked Silver & Enamel Dewsbury School of Nursing Badge 1968-1970. An attractive original nursing badge with red and green enamel decoration surrounding a central white Yorkshire rose and caduceus emblem, inscribed "The Dewsbury School of Nursing S.E.N.". The reverse is engraved "B. Oates" and dated 1968-1970, with silver hallmarks below, and retains the original pin fitting and safety chain loop. A nice original example relating to nursing and medical history in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. In good vintage condition with some light surface wear and marks consistent with age and use.
