Field Marshal Earl Haig Hand Signed Message British Legion c1920s, removed from an early British Legion publication issued during Earl Haig's lifetime and bearing what is believed to be his original hand-written signature in the lower right corner. The page originates from a substantial British Legion collection and the publication is known to pre-date Earl Haig's death in 1928. The reverse features a portrait of The Prince of Wales dated 1921, further confirming the period nature of the publication. While the autograph has not been submitted for third-party authentication, it has been carefully compared with known genuine examples and is considered by the seller to be authentic. Buyers are invited to examine the photographs closely and satisfy themselves as to the signature before purchase. The page displays age-related wear consistent with its age, including edge wear, a central horizontal fold and a few small edge tears. These condition issues do not affect the signature, which remains clear and well-presented. A desirable piece of British military and British Legion history, ideal for collectors of First World War memorabilia, military autographs, Earl Haig material and Royal British Legion ephemera.
