Hand Signed 1930s Trim Tennis Postcard Emmanuel Du Plaix - As shown in the photos has some lightish wear around the edges and appears slightly curled but that often happens with old Real Photo postcards when they are in warm air and will be fine once in an album/sleeve.  An original hand-signed Trim real photographic tennis postcard featuring Emmanuel du Plaix, one of France's leading players of the inter-war period. Du Plaix was ranked as high as fifth in France and enjoyed his most notable successes in 1930 when he won the prestigious All England Plate at Wimbledon and reached the fourth round of the French Championships.  The postcard displays well and the autograph remains clear. A scarce and attractive item for collectors of tennis memorabilia, sporting autographs, Wimbledon history and French sporting heritage.
