Landau competed at the highest level of international tennis during the inter-war years, appearing at both Wimbledon and the French Championships, as well as representing his adopted country in Davis Cup competition.  Trim photographic postcards are highly collectable and remain one of the most popular postcard series featuring leading sportsmen and women of the period.
