Hand Signed 1930s Trim Tennis Postcard Heinrich Kleinschroth - As shown in the photos has some lightish wear around the edges and appears slightly curled but that often happens with old Real Photo postcards when they are in warm air and will be fine once in an album/sleeve. A scarce hand-signed Trim real photo postcard featuring German tennis player Heinrich Kleinschroth. Kleinschroth enjoyed a lengthy international career and competed at all four Grand Slam tournaments in either singles or doubles competition. He represented Germany in the Davis Cup and was among the country's leading players during the inter-war period. One of his most notable achievements came when he reached the Wimbledon Men's Doubles Final in 1913, placing him among the elite players of his era. Trim photographic postcards are highly collectable and remain one of the most popular postcard series featuring leading sporting personalities of the period. The addition of Kleinschroth's signature makes this an attractive item for collectors of tennis memorabilia, sporting autographs, Wimbledon history and vintage postcards from the golden age of the sport.
Please have a look at the other autographs and sports collectables I have for sale.
