A scarce hand-signed Trim real photo postcard featuring French tennis legend Henri Cochet. Cochet was one of the greatest players of the inter-war period, achieving world No. 1 status and winning multiple Grand Slam titles. He was a member of the famous "Four Musketeers" of French tennis, alongside Jean Borotra, Jacques Brugnon and René Lacoste, a group that dominated international tennis during the late 1920s and early 1930s. Trim photographic postcards are highly collectable and remain one of the most popular postcard series featuring leading sporting personalities of the era. The addition of Cochet's signature makes this a particularly desirable example for collectors of tennis memorabilia, sporting autographs, Grand Slam history, French tennis and vintage postcards from the golden age of the sport.
